Blue week in Pag, Croatia

Small groups, Individual approach

It’s not just empty talk. We work with everyone individually, we dive with every one of you, together on the rope. This way, we can see the mistakes and your feelings underwater and correct them immediately. We shortly analyze every dive already on the buoy to give you immediate feedback. After the dive session, we discuss your dives in the group, so you can also learn from each other.

Relaxation and Enjoyment

For us, freediving is about total enjoyment, and that is something we strive to share with you. We want your dives to be completely relaxed, and not some strangled battle for a new PB. The depths that you have been getting to by force will become easily accessible, and new PBs will become the most relaxed and enjoyable dives.

Security

You’ve probably heard already that you should never dive alone. However, it is even more safe to dive with someone who actually knows how to keep an eye on you. We will teach you not only how to dive for your own pleasure but also how to become a good and reliable safety partner in the water.

No limits sled

We are the only freediving school in the Adriatic region with no limits sled. Everyone gets a bit scared at first, but once you try, you can’t stop. The sled helps a lot with relaxation since you don’t have to think about propulsion; instead, you only focus on equalization. You are not alone on the sled; the instructor drives it. He/she controls the speed and can stop at any time, plus can closely observe your equalization technique.

Professional boat with fixed ropes and a sonar

Our boat is completely adjusted for freediving. We put 3 fixed lines from it, which can be seen on the sonar. This way, we can monitor all the deeper dives and thus provide better safety. The boat has a comfortable platform where you can warm up and prepare for the dives. Not to mention all the other fun stuff you can do with a big boat in the middle of the sea.

Excellent conditions for freediving

Povljana is a small sleepy town on the island of Pag, which is ideal for freedivers. We take the boat, and within 10-15 minutes, we reach depths up to 80m, with visibility typically around 20m. For static and safety protocols training, we use two smaller bays nearby. Plus, there is a pine park near our base where we meet for breathing exercises, equalization exercises, yoga, and all the rest.

Holistic experience

Our Blue Week is much more than just a freediving course, it’s a freediving summer camp. It takes place over 6 days, in the same location with the same group of people. It is 6 intensive days of total immersion into the world of freediving. You may stumble upon some of your fears and realize that you are not alone. We spend a lot of time together, talking about freediving and life. And if the weather is favorable, we take one day off as a fun day. We take the boat for a longer excursion to some of the nearby attractions and merge depth training with some fun diving and just having a good time, as one should on holidays. When all is over, you’ll probably cry and not want to say goodbye to your new friends. But don’t worry, you can have a reunion every year.

The CAMP

The camp is structured as an intensive 6-days workshop. Usually, we do two dive sessions per day, one in the morning before breakfast, and the second one in the afternoon. During dive sessions and in the evenings, we have time for some theory and dry exercises - breathing, relaxation, yoga, diaphragm flexibility, and tons of equalization exercises. Somedays we stay in the bay for some static training and safety protocols. And we plan one day as a rest day - we take the boat for a whole day excursion and combine some depth training with some fun diving in the attractions nearby. You can count on great company and fabulous sunsets in Povljana, and with a bit of luck, we can also spot some wild dolphins while at sea.

The exact schedule is adjusted to the weather conditions and the needs of the group. Since the groups are small, we work with everyone individually to pinpoint the mistakes and difficulties and then work together to overcome them.

The camp is suitable for beginners and advanced freedivers.
