Tadej Černoš

Apnea Academy Instructor trainer

Tadej is the owner of Inhale Blue Freediving school. He has been actively exploring the depth of the sea and the human condition for over 15 years. In 2010 he became an instructor at Apnea Academy, a world-renowned freediving school, which provides the most comprehensive education in this field. Its founder Umberto Pelizzari also invited Tadej to join his international team of Apnea Academy trainers who educate new freediving instructors.

Tadej graduated from the Ljubljana Faculty of Sport, co-founded SkiCross Academy, coached the Slovenian B team, and participated in the Winter Olympics in Vancouver and Sochi. As a personal trainer, he helps many athletes achieve greater endurance, motor skills, explosiveness, and stamina. He complements his expertise with knowledge of nutrition and sports psychology.

His versatile knowledge of all sports disciplines and in-depth understanding of how the human body works allow him to help each individual achieve the desired results. He believes in a holistic and individualized approach, mutual trust and responsibility. Athlete, safety, AA instructor

Her journey in freediving began as a hobby, but it quickly evolved into a professional pursuit as she took the bold step towards championships and competitions.

Recently, she has transitioned into the educational aspect of the sport, transforming her original passion into a fulfilling career. This path has gifted her with a broad spectrum of skills and experience in freediving, ranging from being a student and an athlete to a teacher, safety diver, and finally a judge.

She is highly versatile, active, and committed, with an unwavering determination to continue learning and tackling the challenges that freediving presents each day. Her motto encapsulates her approach to teaching: "I don't teach freediving... I share my passion".

 
 

Nik Škrlec

Freediver, Videographer, Instructor

Nik Škrlec is an experienced freediver with a penchant for pushing boundaries and exploring the depths of human potential. Nik's unique approach to freediving is rooted in his belief that play and experimentation are integral to developing new skills and mastering the art of freediving without limits. 

He attended several courses in Y40 with Miguel Lozano and Andrea Zuccari. He likes to direct his attention to physiology and mechanics of equalization and relaxation in freediving. In 2021, Nik became a certified instructor after attending an intensive instructor course under the expert guidance of renowned freediver Linda Paganelli in Tenerife. Since then, he spent summers teaching others the art of freediving, incorporating his innovative ideas and techniques into each lesson and founding Kamenjak Freediving, a freedive club based in Kamenjak, Croatia.

Nik also likes to attempt incredible feats such as solving 10 Rubik's cubes underwater, all in a single breath and exploring wrecks and caves underwater. This is one of his latest videos, diving down to the wreck of Admiral ship Vis.
